Current Term’s Courses

May 2025 courses will open for registration on Tuesday, April 8 at 10am ET.

To register for Graduate Centre for Academic Communication (GCAC) courses:

1. Click on the registration link below. You will be directed to the Folio login page. Enter your UTORid and password.
2. Under ‘Attendance Policy,’ review the terms and click ‘Acknowledge’ to mark the section as complete.
3. Under ‘Submit Course Selection,’ click the link to be taken to the course selection form.
4. Select up to two courses you are interested in, having read their descriptions and timing. Click ‘Submit’ and then ‘Continue’ when ready.
5. Under ‘Confirm Your Schedule,’ “book in” to the course(s) you have chosen using the links under each course title.
6. Per chosen course, you will be able to select available sections, with different dates, times and delivery methods (online or in-person).
7. Once successfully registered to a course, you will receive a confirmation email. If a course is at capacity, you can join its waitlist.

To troubleshoot any issue, please use Incognito mode in Chrome (or a private window in your browser) to register. If you have any further questions or registration concerns, please contact sgs.gcacreg@utoronto.ca.

Please note: Students may register for a maximum of two GCAC courses per academic session. Students who do not comply with this registration policy will be removed from excess courses at GCAC’s discretion, and may be removed from all GCAC courses.
