Stephanie Redekop is a PhD Candidate in the Department of English, where she is writing a SSHRC-funded dissertation about the role of facts in American public discourse of the 1960s. Stephanie has taught the First-Year Writing Seminar at Boston College and has several years of experience as a writing tutor. In 2021, she received an Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award from the Department of English. Stephanie is especially committed to helping empower writers to contribute their intellectual work to their communities more effectively. At GCAC, she works with the “Writing SSHRC Proposals” course and in the Writing Centre.
