I was born in Duesseldorf, Germany. I graduated from the University of Mannheim with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2017. I am now in my second year in the Mannheim Master of Management, Finance at the same university). Having already experienced the advantages and valuable experiences of a semester abroad during the Mannheim Bachelors (Singapore Management University, Singapore), it was clear to me that I would also like to spend a semester overseas in the Master’s program. This time to North America, preferably Canada. 

Canada is known for an excellent quality of universities with a high proportion of exchange students and a high degree of internationality. In addition, Canada ranks highly in terms of living standards and safety regularly. These characteristics contribute to an attractive environment for a semester abroad. A new partner university of my home university stood out in the selection of Canadian universities: the University of Toronto. In addition to its excellent reputation (place #28 worldwide, QS Ranking), the MAccFin program as well as the CFA preparation course really fit my profile. 

I am pursuing a career in the investment banking in the markets (sales and trading) division. With my last internships at two investment banks and one private bank in Frankfurt, I already have some industry experience. That is also why I will write the CFA Level 1 exam in December this year followed by Level 2 next year.
