Marissa Herzig
Marissa Herzig is an English PhD candidate at the University of Toronto whose research focuses on the nonhuman in Jewish folklore. Her SSHRC-funded dissertation examines retellings of the golem from the lens of disability studies, critical race theory, and gender and sexuality studies. Marissa is a resident Junior Fellow at Massey College and a part of the Jewish Studies collaborative program. At the GCAC, she is a consultant at the Writing Centre.
