Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream
Fiona is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the Graduate Centre for Academic Communication (GCAC) and at the Institute for Studies in Transdisciplinary Engineering Education & Practice (ISTEP). Her research interests include nineteenth-century conceptions of the relationship between technology and creativity, the efficacy of collaborative writing processes in the classroom, and the role that affect plays in teaching and learning experiences.
Fiona has a BSc in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary, a BA in Cultural Studies from McGill University, an MA from the Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism at Western University, and a PhD in English Literature from the University of Toronto.
