Colleen McDonell
Colleen McDonell is a PhD candidate in English and the collaborative Book History and Print Culture program at the University of Toronto. Her SSHRC-funded dissertation analyzes domestic servants in Victorian fiction and how these representations speak to broader issues of class and labour. Colleen has taught academic writing as part of the Writing Development Initiative at UTM, has taught English as an Additional Language overseas, and has worked as a writing evaluator at Toronto Metropolitan University. At the GCAC, Colleen works with the “Writing SSHRC Proposals” course and at the Writing Centre.
