Building your Academic Vocabulary – Synchronous Online Workshop

This synchronous workshop will be taught by Dr. Katherine Fry.
This workshop will introduce you to a variety of strategies and resources to help you expand your academic vocabulary. We will discuss characteristics of academic language, different approaches to vocabulary building, and how to make the most of online resources such as dictionaries, academic word lists, and corpora.
This is the fourth of 6 workshops in the Academic Writing and Speaking in English workshop series.
