The numbers are in and hundreds of graduate students from across the University of Toronto’s three campuses participated in SGS Athletics’ sports and recreation programming during the 2023-24 academic year.

In partnership with Tri-Campus Sports, the University of Toronto Students’ Union (UTSGU) and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), SGS Athletics’ primary goal is to “enhance the graduate student experience through fostering a vibrant and inclusive community, beyond the academic environment.” With over 43 teams registered throughout the fall and winter terms, SGS athletes brought home several intramural championships, with standout individual performances recognized with divisional awards.
