If you wish to drop a course after the first class, please notify your instructor within 48 hours to allow someone from the waitlist to be admitted.

Attendance Policies

As our courses are in heavy demand, we ask that you register for a course only if you are sure you can complete it. We have implemented the following attendance policies out of respect for the many students who wish to take our courses but cannot get in:

1. Attendance is mandatory.

2. Students who register and miss classes (including students who register for a course but never attend) will be blocked from registering in the first session of the next term.

3. In order to avoid penalty, students must notify their instructor with a valid reason for an absence before class.

4. Students can drop a course before it starts without penalty. Those wishing to drop a course after the first class must notify the course instructor.

5. Since demand for our courses exceeds supply, we request that students take any given course only once a year, with the exception of the proposal writing courses which may be taken in both the Spring and the Fall.
